Let's see...March is a uber busy month. Anna's birthday is Thursday. She will be 11. Jesus. My baby girl will be an old lady. Ok, not really. But wow, where did that time go. We are going out to Logan's Steakhouse for her birthday. That's what she wanted. Better than a sleepover.
Wayne leaves Sunday (the 6th) for New Jersey for the week. EEK! I really do miss him when he's gone. He will get back on Friday, the 11th. A long week of getting up early, making lunches and sleeping with Anna and Julia. :)
Girl Scout cookies arrive March 21st. They day before we leave for Florida. :-\
We leave for Florida on the 21st and will be gone through April 2nd. YES!!! Totally geeked about being gone, enjoying the family and taking the grandparents with us. Yep. Grams and Pops are going to stay with us. The kids are excited and I think they are too. Here's a link to The Flamingo Getaway where we are staying. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and POOL!!! There will be pics from the vacation. Stay tuned.
Ladybugs and The Red Thread
"An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break.” Our red thread journey is complete now that Julia is home. Please enjoy reading about our family now that we are 5. Our adoption trip to China is archived in the November 2005/December 2005 sections.

Maybe not as done as I think...
So, I thought I was truly done with writing on this blog. I went through looking for a particular photo (which to my dismay I never found ON the blog, but did manage to find while going through a gazillion photos on my laptop) and noticed that I had some great posts. LOL! Yes, I am tooting my own horn. I miss having a place to write, vent, share and show people what my wild family is up to. Well, besides Facebook. Anywho...small updates.
Everyone is going well. No major changes to health or our family size. We did add a new dog named Abigail Louise. She's a hoot. Another Springer Spaniel, a bit of a wild girl. She's been a great addition to our family and I love having 2 puppies to keep me busy!!
One of the other reasons that I wanted to write again is there seems to be a ton of folks advocating for special needs children from China. There are over 2000 "waiting children" on a shared list right now. Julia was a assigned kiddo and her file was with AAI. Now, there is the shared list where any agency can place those children. Great idea and it seems to be working well. So on my return to blogging here on Ladybugs and The Red Thread, I wanted to have everyone to think of a special kiddo I saw today. A boy who has microtia (like Ju) but also a pretty severe cleft lip and palate. His picture has tugged at me all day and I pray that he finds a forever family soon.
Ahhh...great to be back. Feels like home again. Now, to update my blog layout and look!! Woohoo!
