It was 43 degrees and sunny, so...

I did what any other mini-van driving mom would do. I cranked up the heat, opened the SUNROOF and cranked my iPod up. It was gorgeous today and I've got spring fever in January. I checked the temp in Raleigh earlier this week, it was 71. I was thrilled about the 54 degrees we had earlier. Jeez!! So anyways, I'm sure I got a few odd looks as I drove around today, but I couldn't resist. The sun was out, 43 isn't THAT cold and well, I'm so ready for winter to be over! :-) Oh yeah...perfect song to cruise to is Saves the Day's song, Shoulder to the wheel. It jams even in the mini-van. Wooohooo!

This was when we got the van back in 2006. My ride needs to be PIMP'ed!!!

For this time of the year, 43 is a heat wave for Michigan! Glad you had a fun day cruising.

AHHHH it was about that here yesterday and I bundled up Em like an Eskomo to go for a walk....of coarse we were sweating by the time we got home because 43 really isn't that cold! LOL If I had a van I'd have done the same thing, heck I don't even have an IPod so I guess it would have been us walking downt the road singing the ABCs or something just as obnoxious!!!

As a fellow soccer dad once told me, "Once you drive a mini-van, there is no such thing as being cool. Unless you paint flames on side, but then, you'd just be a poser!" Maybe my mid-life crisis will bring me a much cooler ride. LOL! Yeah, right.
