How much Julia loves the new van

Sorry the pic is blurry, but we were headed to a baseball game. I had to take a picture of Julia sleeping with her headset on. She loves watching t.v. ANYWHERE...I was shocked that she actually fell asleep.

SIKE! There are no photos of our day spent at the amusement park! I forgot the memory stick for the camera and couldn't take any pictures. UGH! (Hey Liz...sound familiar?) What a bummer.

It's baaacckkk....Fifth Disease

Last summer we had a round of Fifth Disease with all the Wagner cousins. Julia started it. Well, guess who has it again. Yep. Julia. I'll add a picture of her "slapped cheeks" rash that she has on her face. Plus, it's very swollen. She's tired and out of sorts today. I feel so bad for her. There's no medication to take, other than just cold meds for the cold like symptoms. Last night I told her she could get out of the van at Anna's game. She ended up falling asleep in my lap. I'm just hoping the older kids don't come down with it again. :-(

Find more photos like this on Ludington Talks

Thunder, Lightning and a whole lotta Rain!

Rain...more rain that we know what to do with. I wish I had streaming feed of the photos from around the area. I'm not sure whether or not there was a confirmed tornado, but there is some major damage north of U.S. 10. I know, it's not that big of deal for those of you used to more severe weather or for people like my Aunt Cheryl who is used to hurricanes and wild fires. Ludington/Scottville/Mason County typically is a pretty boring place (weatherly speaking) and not much happens here.

THE WINGS WIN IT!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOHOOOO! The Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup!

Henrik the Hottie Zetterburg

My personal fave...Chris Osgood!

This might have been my proudest Mom moment so far

Cam had his first baseball game of the season last night. Top of the 3rd inning...he walks out to the pitcher's mound. EEEK! Cam is going to pitch? Yep! He is! I almost cried! He's wanted to pitch for so long and coach gave him the chance last night. He did great. Well, he did as good as any of the other kids (minus the star kiddo, Mitch, who happens to be a cousin of ours!). I was sooooooooo proud!! He also got on base each time at bat, with either a walk (2) or a hit (2). How cool!

After he got done pitching, Wayne and I both went up to him and told him how great he did and how proud we were of his attitude and sportsmanship. I told him I wanted to cry and he looked at me like, "Oh geez! Don't do it here in front of my teammates!!" ;-)

Sooooo...after our win, we went to DQ for a little ice cream celebration. YAY!

Conversations from the dugout

Here's what I heard while being the bench parent last night at Anna's game.

Player 1: When is your birthday?
Player 2: I dunno, let me ask my mom.
Player 1: Mine is in Novstember.

Player 3: What's the score?
Me: I'm not sure.
Player 3: My mom said even if we lose, we're still suppose to have fun.

Player 4 is laying at the end of the bench with his head on his glove. I asked him if he's tired and his reply is, "It's been a long day Mrs. Wagner. I need to relax!"
