Mom...I want to be...

Julia: Mom, I want to be a scientist
Me: Really?
Julia: Yeah, I want to work in a scary house.
Me: What's a scary house?
Julia: I don't know
Me: How about you work in a nice place that helps people?
Julia: Like where? China?
Me: Sure...you could go back and help other kids that are waiting for mommies and daddies
Julia: Sounds like a good idea, mom.

Too cute. But I don't want her to move to China:-)!!!! Tell her Aunt Cheryl will help her get a job helping kids in Florida who need families.

Ahhh, so THIS is what Tonni was talking about! (I go to church with her in Ohio.) She said the other day that she had a Michigan friend blogging conversations now. I had to see for myself. :-) Kids do say such funny things. It's fun to record them. Adults, too. Of course, they tend to be more mortified than anything when they find themselves saying something particularly funny. As in, "NOO! Erin! Don't blog THAT ONE!!!" Anyway, pleased to meet you and your little sweetheart. Best of luck in your job search Julia. ;-)

Hi Erin!

Welcome to the chaos I call My Life. :-) Tonni is an amazing mom/wife/friend and I'm thrilled to have her in my life. After reading some of her conversations that she's had with her kids, I thought...that makes great blog fodder on slow days! Thanks again for stopping by!!
