Not that I cared, but...Giants WIN!

I'm not a big football fan (give me rugby any day!), but the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots 17-14. YAY! I was tired of hearing all about Tom Brady, so I kinda started liking the Giants. Either way, I figured that the Super Bowl was blog worthy. :-)

On a greener side...there a great player for the Giants who is a former Michigan State'r. Plaxico Burress is an amazing receiver. Go Green!

I too was very excited for the Giants. I thought the other team was a little to cocky. Loved the ending and I don't even like football!

I was cheering for the Giants as well but I always cheer for the underdogs, well unless the Bears are playing and they aren't the underdogs but I digress. Anyway, I was cheering for NY but I fell asleep before all the good stuff happened, go figure!

You'll note that while Burress may have caught the winning pass, former Michigan receiver Amani Toomer led the team with 6 catches and 84 yards...LOL, couldn't help myself.

Interesting that you mention that...Wayne very politely kept pointing that out along the way. He was torn between Brady and Toomer winning. Not that it really matters, I mean, being a Lions fan and all, I might as well wish to win the Lotto while I hope for Detroit to win a Super Bowl. ~sigh~

Hey, stranger things have happened. But the Lions, well, I think they'll be cursed forever. I think I'm more excited for Toomer (and yes, Plaxico...:-), pretty neat to have a UM - MSU combo win) than I would've been for Brady, he's been there plenty of times.
